Does Jeuveau Require More Units Compared to Botox?

Jeuveau doesn’t require more injection units compared to Botox to achieve the same results. For example, 15 to 20 units of Botox are usually used for fine lines on the forehead and eye region, with a higher dosage usually used for men. The same number of units of Jeuveau can also be used for similar results.

If flu-like symptoms appear, have plenty of rest, drink plenty of fluids and take over-the-counter medicine for the symptoms. Make sure to consult with your doctor first regarding the medicine that you intend to take. Flu-like symptoms may typically occur within the first month of the treatment and are generally mild to moderate. 

A patient who had treatment can experience constipation and nausea which can last from a few days up to 2 weeks in some cases. In these cases, patients should increase their intake of fruits, vegetables, and fluids, and take fiber supplements to relieve the symptoms. 

Can You Use Jeuveau and Botox Together?

Jeuveau and Botox are derived from the same bacteria, essentially creating the same neurotoxin botulinum toxin type A. This means that they can be interchangeable. Most patients don’t notice the difference when both of these are used on them.
