Dr. Cristyn Watkins, the KC Regenerative Doctor®, has been offering PRP procedures for over 5 years in Kansas City. She is a national speaker and trainer for regenerative medicine therapy and treatments.
She has published a chapter in Dr. Charles Runnels, inventor of OShot/Pshot, current book and is a licensed provider of the trademark Vampire® PRP procedures, which means she has undergone advanced training to administer the highest level of PRP treatments. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a concentration of your own autologous platelets which have reservoirs filled with powerful growth factors and healing agents. It is “harvested” from your own blood. This is done by collecting a small volume of your blood and spinning it down to separate the red blood cells from the platelet cells.
